Emilie and Tom

One of the last weddings of 2019 was at the stunning New House Farm, Lorton. Emilie and Tom had the most incredible day and it was a pleasure working with them to plan their special day.

The day started with the ceremony at New House Farm followed by drinks in the tea rooms while our team turned the room around from the ceremony to dining.

For welcome drinks guests could choose from:
~ Prosecco
~ Glühwein (Mulled Wine)
~ Bottled Peroni
~ Elderflower Presse

While some of the team served drinks, the rest served canapes!.

– Mozzarella & Pesto Arancini with a Sun Blush Tomato Dip
– Mini Yorkshire Puddings with Pink Roast Beef & Horseradish
– Honeyed Sausages with a Mustard Mayo Dip
– Mini Fish & Chips in Newspaper Cones & Tartare Sauce
– Spinach & Feta Filo Parcels

Unfortunately, the weather didn’t want to be on our side, and there was a storm!!

HOWEVER the incredibly talented Tiree Dawson took Emilie and Tom to get some couple shots and I mean WOW! She captured one of our favourite couple shots of the year!!

Once the bride and groom arrived back after photos it was time for guests to take their seats and get ready for Emilie and Toms meal.

As Emilie is an event planner herself, she had a very clear idea of what she wanted and how she wanted it which made our job on the day extremely easy.

Speeches were between each course which created a great atmosphere during the meal.

Once desert was finished all the guests went downstairs to the tea rooms for tea and coffee while the room was re-arranged a final time ready for the band.

The dancing began and all evening everyone was up on their feet dancing and partying! To help everyone carry on partying all evening we served evening food – mac & cheese – half crumbled bacon & half plain.

It was a great idea for evening food as it didn’t interrupt the evening, and everyone could carry on with their evening and not miss out.

Emilie and Tom, we hope you had the best first Christmas and New Year as Mr and Mrs and we all wish you the best for the future!
