Nothing is too much trouble

  • We do really good food, beautifully presented and served with a smile for 10 up to 1,000 people.
  • We offer unlimited help throughout the planning stages, right through to the big day and can help you on all aspects of menu planning, etiquette, suppliers etc
  • We run the day, co-ordinate all the contractors, organise the best man (if he needs organising), Nothing is too much trouble. Imagine a hotel in your garden being run by staff that you’ve trained, that’s what you’ll get. If you want formality that fine, if you want a low key party with family and friends no problem. Whatever you want we’ll follow your instructions to the letter

We won’t let anything go wrong. We are only as good as our last job so we can’t afford to.

I think that one of the key things we do is completely take away the stress from your wedding.  We offer different levels of service, from simply ‘the caterers’ where we come in, do the food and leave after the speeches, to on-the-day organisation and planning, right through to full wedding co-ordination.

Speaking to brides after the wedding they often say that although the food was fantastic it is the little things that they notice, for example how friendly the staff are. The fact that someone looked after granny, dealt with awkward band members and generally kept the day flowing.

When planning a wedding you have to consider the possibility that something may go wrong and you need people on your side that care enough to sort it out.  We’ve had various incidents over the years which are never regarding the food.  The brides car broke down on the way to the venue so we sent someone out to collect her, we’ve sewn buttons on, glued heels on, managed to get a generator at the last minute when a major storm left us without lights and heating.  The list is endless and of course its difficult to “sell” this service as nobody wants to consider a disaster on their wedding day but if you book us for your wedding you’ll know that in adversity we will never say the immortal words “its not our problem”.

Once you have confirmed your booking and paid a deposit we can provide a complimentary tasting for the bride and groom.  This takes place ‘out of season’ ie November, January, February & March.  There are opportunities at other times of the year but they are very restricted due to how busy we are.  Please note the tasting will not be on a weekend.

The tasting includes a starter, main course and dessert and is an opportunity for you to try your choice of wedding breakfast. We do not have the capacity for you to try canapes or multiple dishes.  If you decide on the street food menu, you can choose three dishes plus a dessert.

The majority of our wedding clients come to us through personal recommendation but if you aren’t familiar with what we do and would like a tasting prior to booking we charge £100.00 for the 3 courses.  If you book with us this is credited to your account and comes off your final bill.

Please give careful consideration to your choice of dishes as the idea of the tasting is to replicate the menu you are having on your wedding day.  We need the tasting menu a minimum of two weeks prior to the tasting date to ensure chef can source all the ingredients and plan enough time for the preparation.

We offer wedding catering in Cheshire, Lake District, Lancashire, Yorkshire Dales and across the North West of England from our base in Cumbria’s Grange-over-Sands.
