1pm – Ceremony

1:30pm – Welcome drinks & canapes

3pm – Guests seated

3:30pm – Speeches

4pm – Wedding breakfast

7:30pm – Evening guests arrive

8pm – Cut the cake

8:10pm – First dance

9pm – Evening food

 

After the ceremony we served canapes which included

  • Crostini with Mozzarella, Sun Blush Tomatoes & Basil
  • Pear, Proscuitto & Rockets Rolls
  • Caramelised Onion Tart Tatin
  • Blinis with Creme Fraiche & Smoked Salmon


For the wedding breakfast the couple opted for a more relaxed choice of picnic hampers for the guests which included

  • Cumbrian Honey Roasted Ham
  • Cumberland Sausage Rings
  • Cheese & Onion Roll
  • Higginsons Family Sized Pork Pie
  • Morecambe Bay Potted Shrimps
  • Selection of Quiche
  • Home-Made Chicken Liver Pate

  • Selection of Local Cheeses/Biscuits
  • Dishes of Hot Buttered New Potatoes, Mixed Summer Salad, Coleslaw, Tomato Chutney & Red Onion Marmalade
  • Home-Made Breads
  • Home-Made Fruit Scones with Butter, Jam & Clotted Cream
  • Tea & Coffee

At 9pm we served an evening BBQ which consisted of

  • Fell Bred Beef Burgers
  • Cumberland Sausages
  • Marinated Chicken Kebabs
  • Char Grilled Halloumi & Med Veg Kebabs
  • Coleslaw
  • Greek Salad with Feta & Olives
  • Potato & Chive Salad
  • Floured Buns & Condiments
