On 10th September we headed to Workington to cater for Sian & James’ wedding.

Timings of the day

1pm – Ceremony

2:30pm – Welcome drinks

3:45pm – Guests seated

4:15pm – Speeches

4:30pm – Wedding breakfast

6:30pm – Evening guests arrive

9pm – Evening food

2am – Bar to close

2:30pm we served the canap├ęs which included

  • Spinach & Feta Filo Parcels
  • Mozzarella & Pesto Arancini
  • Honey & Mustard Sausages
  • Spicy Meatballs

A 2-course wedding breakfast was chosen by the bride & groom for their guests

Main course – Sharing Boards

  • Harissa Chicken Kebabs
  • Leg of Lamb with Rosemary & Garlic
  • Marinated Courgette & Halloumi Kebabs
  • Harissa Roasted Aubergine Strudel
  • All served with dishes of Roasted Baby Potatoes, Turkish Cous Cous, Istanbul Salad with Feta, Olives, Tomatoes & Coriander, Char Grilled Roasted Mediterranean Vegetable Salad

Dessert

  • Raspberry & White Chocolate Tart with Lemon Curd, Pistachios, Italian Meringue & Lemon Sorbet
  • Vegan Dark Chocolate Brownie with Vegan Ice Cream
  • Tea, Coffee & Home-Made Fudge

Once the evening guests had also arrived we served all the evening food which included

  • Newspaper Cones of Potato Wedges
  • Margherita Pizza
  • Pepperoni Pizza
  • Garlic Pizzas
  • Cheesy Garlic Pizzas
