On Tuesday 7th September we headed back to Low Hall The Lakes in Cockermouth to cater for the wedding of Sarah & Christopher

Timings of the day

12:30pm – Ceremony

2:30pm – Welcome drinks & canapes

4pm – Guests seated

4:15pm – Speeches

4:30pm – Wedding breakfast

7:30pm – Evening guests arrive

8pm – Cut the cake

8:15pm – First dance

8:30pm – Evening food

Midnight – Bar to close

For the canapés we served

  • Chilli & Garlic Prawns
  • Honey & Mustard Sausages
  • Spinach & Feta Filo Bites
  • Mozzarella & Pesto Arancini
  • Mini Fish & Chips with Tartare Sauce
  • Mini Beef Burgers with Relish, Lettuce & Tomato

The speeches were carried out before the wedding breakfast & we served the children’s starters during this time

  • 2xMelon & Strawberries
  • 2xGarlic Breads

For the bride & groom & guests we then served

Main Course

  • Steak & Ale Pie
  • Chicken, Ham & Leek Pie
  • Spinach, Butternut Squash & Ricotta Pie
  • 1x Sausage & Mash for Child
  • 3x Macaroni Cheese for children

Dessert

  • Biscoff Cheesecake
  • Sticky Toffee Pudding with Toffee Sauce & Ice Cream
  • Tea, Coffee & Home-Made Fudge

At 8:30pm we served the evening food which included

  • Margherita & Basil Pizza
  • Pepperoni Pizza
  • Goats Cheese, Med Veg & Onion Marmalade
