On the 6th August, we travelled up to Dumfries for a special wedding in a Tipi at a Farm.

Timings of the day

2pm – Ceremony

2:45pm – Welcome drinks & Canapes

4pm – Guests seated & Speeches

4:45pm – Wedding Breakfast

7:30pm – Evening Guests Arrive

7:50pm – Cut the cake

8pm – First Dance

9:30pm – Evening Food

After the ceremony we served all of the guests and bride and groom with the selection of canapes which included

  • Newspaper Cones of Fish & Chips
  • Goats Cheese Bon Bons
  • Honeyed Sausages

The speeches were carried out before the wedding breakfast was served to begin the afternoon

  • Bowls of Roasted New Potatoes with Olive Oil & Rosemary
  • Bowls of Roasted Sweet Potato Salad with Fresh Figs & Balsamic Vinegar
  • Bowls of Gluten Free Pasta Salad with Mediterranean Vegetables & Feta
  • Bowls of Tomato & Pomegranate Salad with Basil Dressing

Dessert

Summer Berry Pavlova with Strawberries, Raspberries, Blackberries, Mint & Coulis
