Timings of the day

11:30am – Ceremony

1pm – Welcome drinks

2:30pm – Guests seated

3pm – Wedding breakfast

4:30pm – Speeches

6pm – Evening guests arrive

7pm – Cut the cake

7:30pm – Evening food

11pm – Wedding carriages

 

 

After the ceremony, the guests arrived at Rosthwaite Village Hall, and we served everyone drinks and canapes which included

  • Thai Fishcakes with Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • Duck Pancakes with Plum Sauce
  • Honey & Mustard Sausages with Mustard Dip
  • Spinach & Feta Filo Parcels
  • Pesto & Mozzarella Arancini with Sun Blush Tomato Dip
  • Mini Fish & Chips with Tartare Sauce
  • Dairy Free & Gluten Free Canapes & Vegan Canapes
  • Bottles of Beers in Buckets of Ice, Pimms in Pitchers with Fruit & Ice, Orange Juice & Lemonade with Ice all served for the welcome drinks

At 2:30pm the guests were seated ready for the wedding breakfast at 3pm.

Mains

  • Roast Topside of Beef with Roast Potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, seasonal Vegetables, Garnish & Gravy
  • Roasted Shallot Tarte tatin (Vegan)

Desserts

  • Summer Berry Pavlova with Berry Coulis & Mint Garnish
  • GF/Vegan Chocolate Orange Brownie with Orange Sorbet & Fresh Raspberries
  • Tea, Coffee & Home-Made Fudge

For the evening food at the end of the night we served

  • Sausage Buns with Potato Wedges
