Lucy & Robert

On 28th August we catered for the wedding of Lucy & Robert at the wonderful venue The Coppermines. They even chose to have a ‘post wedding party’ the day after to carry on the celebrations into the Sunday.

Timings of the day – Saturday

2pm – Ceremony

2:45pm – Welcome drinks

4pm – Guests seated

4:30pm – Wedding breakfast

6:30pm – Speeches

7:30pm – Cut the cake & first dance

10pm – Evening food

12:30am – Bar to close


  • Mini Yorkshire puddings with Roast Beef & Horseradish

For the wedding breakfast we served a 3-course wedding breakfast which consisted of

Starter – Platter of Lakeland D’Oeuvres

  • Chicken Liver Pate with Onion Marmalade
  • Cumberland Sausage
  • Goats Cheese Croquettes with Chilli Jam
  • Cartmel Valley Smoked Salmon
  • Waberthwaite Air Dried Ham & Melon

Main Course

  • Loin of Lakeland Lamb with a Redcurrant & Mint Jus
  • Caramelised Shallot & Goats Cheese Tarte Tatin
  • All Served with Dauphinois Potatoes & Green Beans

At 10pm we served all the guests and bride and groom with the evening food

The day after Lucy & Roberts wedding we went back to The Coppermines and served everyone with picnic hampers. They all included
