2pm – Ceremony

3pm – Welcome drinks & canapes

5pm – Guests seated

5:30pm – Wedding breakfast

7pm – Speeches

7:45pm – Cut the cake

8pm – First dance

10:30pm – Evening food

1am – Bar to close

 

At 3pm when the guests all arrived from the ceremony, we served the canapes which included

  • Honeyed Sausages
  • Scallops & Parma Ham
  • Wild Mushroom Arancini
  • Goats Cheese Bon Cons with Chilli Jam
  • Chicken Satay with a Peanut Dip
  • Smoked Salmon Blini
  • Scotch Quail Eggs

The bride & groom opted for a 2-course wedding breakfast meal of Main Course & Dessert

Main Course

  • Fillet of Fell Bred Beef with Green Peppercorn Sauce & Beef Gravy
  • Served with Chips, Glazed Carrots, Green Beans, Horseradish & Mustard

Dessert

  • Lemon Tart with Lemon Curd, Fresh Raspberries & English Lakes Raspberry Sorbet
  • Tea, Coffee & Home-Made Fudge

At around 10:30pm we served everyone the evening food

  • Sausage Buns
  • Bacon Buns
