What a day for Laura & Christian at Silverholme! We catered for 30 guests (2 children & 28 adults)

Timings of the day

1:30pm – Ceremony at St Michaels & All Angels Church, Beetham

3:15pm – Drinks Reception

3:30pm – Canapes

5pm – Guests Seated & Speeches

5:45pm – Wedding Breakfast

8pm – Cutting of the cake

8:15pm – First dance

Evening – Cheese & Biscuits

After the ceremony, the couple arrived by helicopter which was absolutely amazing! They certainly arrived at Silverholme in style. For the canapés we served

  • Honeyed Sausages
  • Spinach & Feta Filo Parcels
  • Tomato Bruschetta
  • Filo Wrapped King Prawns
  • Chicken Satay with a Peanut Dip
  • Baby Hamburgers with Relish
  • Sole Goujons with Tartare Sauce
  • Blinis with Creme Fraiche & Smoked Salmon

The guests chose their preferred meal choices from the following

Starters

  • Chicken Liver Parfait, Onion Marmalade and Rosemary Crostini
  • Deep Fried Brie with Cranberry Sauce
  • Vegan Pesto Arancini with Sun Blush Tomato Dip
  • All served with baskets of homemade breads with Olive Oil and Balsamic

Mains

  • Fillet of Beef with Chunky Chips, Green Peppercorn Sauce, Glazed Carrots & Green Beans
  • Fillet of Sea Bream with Cherry Tomatoes, Olives, White Wine & Lemon Juice, Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables & Parmentier Potatoes
  • Harissa Aubergine Strudel with Olives & Sun Blush Tomatoes, Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables & Parmentier Potatoes

Dessert

  • Hot Sticky Toffee Pudding with Toffee Sauce & English Lakes Double Jersey Ice Cream

In the evening, the couple arranged to bring their own cheese & biscuits for themselves & their guests to enjoy before the end of the night.

The Tipi outside was gorgeous overlooking the lake. What an amazing day, we are so happy you chose us to cater for your wedding day.
