What a beautiful day it was for Kate & Simon at Silverholme. The ceremony was in the amazing coach house, followed by drinks and canapes out on the gardens then into the tipi for wedding breakfast, speeches and dancing!

Timings of the day

1:30pm – Ceremony

2pm – Welcome drinks & canapes

4pm – Guests seated

4:30pm – Wedding breakfast

6pm – Speeches

7:30pm – Evening guests arrive

8pm – Cut the cake

8:05pm – First dance

9pm – Evening food

Midnight – Bar to close and guests carry on partying the night away in coach house!

For the welcome drinks we served a selection of Pimms, Prosecco and soft drinks. The canapes included

  • Asparagus, Minted Pea & Feta Tartlets
  • Blinis with Creme Fraiche & Smoked Salmon
  • Chilli & Garlic King Prawns
  • Spinach & Feta Filo Parcels
  • Tovey Goats Cheese Arancini – Deep Fried Risotto Balls
  • Seared Tuna with Sesame Seeds & Soy Sauce
  • Mini Yorkshire Puddings with Roast Beef
  • Sole Goujons with Tartare Sauce

The guests enjoyed the canapés outside on the grounds of Silverholme with a singer for the afternoon. At 4pm the guests headed into the Tipi ready for the wedding breakfast

  • Chicken Kebabs in Garlic & Olive Oil
  • Peppered Minute Steaks
  • King Prawn Kebabs in Chilli & Garlic
  • Courgette & Halloumi Kebabs Marinated in Mint & Lemon
  • With dishes of wood Fired Potatoes, French Beans, Garlic Dressing, Green Cous Cous with Chilli & Pistachios, Marinated Pepper Salad & Leafy Green Salad

 

Dessert

  • Strawberry & Basil Pannacotta with Home-Made Shortbread on the side
  • Tea, Coffee & Home-Made Fudge

Once the evening guests had arrived, and the dancing and drinking begun, at 9pm we served the guests and bride and groom the evening food which consisted of

  • Bacon Buns
  • Newspaper Cones of Fish & Chips with Tartare Sauce
