1:30pm – Ceremony

2:30pm – Welcome drinks & Canapes

4pm – Guests seated

4:30pm – Wedding Breakfast

6pm – Speeches

7:30pm – Cut the cake

7:45pm – First dance

8pm – Evening food

Midnight – Bar to close

After the ceremony at Helsington Church, the guests and bride and groom headed to the reception which was held at The Farmhouse, Tenement Farm in Burnside. We served canapés which included

  • Spicy Lamb Koftas
  • Arancini
  • Spinach & Feta Filo Bites
  • Calamari & Garlic Mayo

Once the guests were seated we began served the 3 course wedding breakfast

Starters

  • Country Vegetable Soup
  • Caramelised Onion & Goats Cheese Tart with Mixed Leaves, Salad Dressing & Balsamic Glaze
  • Pork Scotch Egg & Hawkshead Piccalilli with Mixed Leaves & Salad Dressing
  • All served with baskets of Home-Made Breads & Plates of Butter

Main Courses

  • Pork Three Ways, Roast Pork Fillet, Belly Pork, Slow Cooked Pork Cheek Bon Bon with Rich Cider Jus
  • Chicken Fillet Wrapped in Parma Ham with a Rich Chicken Jus (GF)
  • Vegetable Wellington with s Chasseur Sauce (VEGAN)
  • All served with Dauphinois Potato & Summer Vegetables

Desserts

  • Rhubarb & Apple Crumble & Custard
  • Sticky Toffee Pudding with Toffee Sauce & English Lakes Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Eton Mess
  • Tea, Coffee & Home-Made Fudge
