Timings of the day

1:30pm – Ceremony

2pm – Welcome drinks

3:30pm – Guests seated

4pm – Speeches

4:30pm – Wedding breakfast

6pm – Cut the cake

7:30pm – First dance

8:30pm – Evening food

Midnight – Bar to close

After the ceremony, at 2pm, we served the canapes to the bride & groom & all of the guests which included

  • Mini Yorkshire puddings with Roast Beef & Horseradish
  • Chilli & Garlic Prawns
  • Caramelised Onion Tart Tatin
  • Croque Monsieur
  • Baby Scones with Jam & Clotted Cream

At 4:30pm it was time for the wedding breakfast! A classic 3 course wedding breakfastt was chosen by the bride & groom

Starter

  • Roasted Carrot & Parsnip Soup with Baskets of Home-Made Breads

Main Course

  • Fillet Steak with a Rich Madeira Jus & Chunky Chips
  • OR Higginsons Cumberland sausage with Onion Gravy
  • All Served with Buttered Mash & Roasted Winter Vegetables

Dessert

  • Chocolate Orange Brownie with Double Jersey Ice Cream
  • Tea & Coffee

For the evening food later on in the night, we provided

  • Fish Finger Butties
  • Chip Butties
