Timings of the day

1pm – Ceremony

2:15pm – Welcome drinks & canapés

3:30pm – Guests seated

4pm – Speeches

4:45pm – Wedding breakfast

8pm – Cut the cake

8:30pm – First dance

9pm – Evening food

12am – Bar to close

After the ceremony we served the canapés to the guests which included

  • Thai Fish Cakes with Chilli Dipping Sauce
  • Spinach & Feta Filo Parcels
  • Peking Duck Pancakes with Plum Sauce
  • Chilli & Garlic Prawns

 


At 5pm it was time for the wedding breakfast. The couple opted for a sharing starter, followed by main course and dessert

  • Higginsons Pork Pies
  • Black Pudding Scotch Eggs
  • Chicken Liver Pate with Onion Marmalade
  • Goats Cheese Croquettes with Chilli Jam
  • Waberthwaite Air Dried Ham
  • Melon

Main Course

  • Chicken, Ham & Leek Pie
  • OR Steak & Jennings Ale Pie
  • OR Butternut Squash, Spinach & Ricotta Pie on Shortcrust Pastry
  • Served with Buttered Mash, Roasted Vegetables & Gravy

Dessert

  • Sticky Toffee Pudding with Toffee Sauce & Vanilla Ice Cream


At 9pm it was time for the evening food

  • Margherita Pizza
  • Pepperoni Pizza
  • Spinach, Goats Cheese & Caramelised Onion Pizza
  • Cajun Chicken & Red Pepper Pizza
