the order of the day

On 9th October, we headed to a home in Bowness where there was an amazing marquee for the wedding of Sarah & Ed

Timings of the day

12pm – Ceremony

1pm – Welcome Drinks

2:30pm – Guests Seated

3pm – Wedding Breakfast

4pm – Speeches

8:30pm – Cut The Cake

1am – Bar To Close

For the canapés we served a selection of English Afternoon tea inspired canapés which included

  • Cartmel Valley Smoke Salmon Mini Finger Sandwiches
  • Cucumber & Cream Cheese Mini Finger Sandwiches
  • Honey Roast Cumbrian Ham Mini Finger Sandwiches
  • Blinis with Creme Fraiche & Smoked Salmon
  • Tovey Goats Cheese Arancini
  • Spinach & Feta Filo Parcels
  • Chilli & Garlic King Prawns

3pm hit, and it was time to serve the wedding breakfast!

Main Course

  • Free Range Cumbrian Chicken


  • Wedding Cake & Berries & Cream to Garnish

The evening food was served around 9:30pm and was a twist with a pasta bar

  • Truffle Mac & Cheese
  • Ricotta & Spinach Cannelloni
  • Baked Gnocchi & Nduja
  • Garlic Bread & Herby Green Salad

Close to the end of the wedding day around 12:15am-1am we served the bride and groom and guests late night snacks

  • Grilled Cheese Toasties
