the order of the day
Last weekend we had the pleasure of catering for Kate and Tom at Halecat. This is a gorgeous local venue for us which we loved working at.
Timings for the day:
1.00pm – Humanist Ceremony at Halecat
1.45pm – Drinks Reception
3.00pm Guests Seated
3.15pm Wedding Breakfast
5.00pm Speeches
6.00pm Guests to move to House
9.00pm Evening Food
12.00am Bar Close
The day started with a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Halecat followed by drinks on the lawn. The weather was incredible and it was so nice to be able to be outside for welcome drinks!
Guests were then seated in the marquee ready for the meal. It was a fantastic marquee as the sides were all clear so you could still have the stunning view around you while you were seated.

After the meal it was time for speeches!
Once speeches had finished all the guests made their way into the house for tea, coffee and chocolate fudge. While guests enjoyed coffee, our team transformed the marquee from dining into a dancing marquee! We moved tables and ensured the music and the bar were set up ready for an evening of partying!
Guests made their way back into the marquee ready to dance, however the bride and groom also set up an outdoor cinema playing on of Kate and Toms favourite films – Love Actually. While some guests were dancing the night away other sat down and enjoyed the film, it was an incredible idea and would recommend it to everyone!
Finally it was time for evening food! While guests were partying the night away our team walked around with Newspaper cones of Fish and Chips!
Once evening food had finished our team spent the evening ensuring the marquee was kept immaculate! After a night of partying midnight arrived quickly and it was time for our team to leave.
We loved being a part of your big day and hope you have the most incredible honeymoon!
