the order of the day

Keeping within the government guidelines, we catered for 30 adults for Elizabeth & Gareth, 11th June 2021.

Timings of the day

11:30am – Welcome drinks

12pm – Picnic lunch outside

1:30pm – Ceremony 

2pm – Drinks reception

5:30pm – Guests seated

6pm – Wedding breakfast starter and main

7pm – Speeches

7:15pm – Cake cutting

7:30pm – Serve cake

Once the guests had arrived, they enjoyed a glass of Prosecco/soft drink. Before the ceremony we served relaxed picnic hampers outside, topping up those Prosecco glasses along the way! The hampers included:

  • Cumberland sausage Rings
  • Higginson’s Family Sized Pork Pie
  • Cartmel Valley Smoked Salmon
  • Selection of Quiche
  • Home-made Pate
  • Selection of Local Cheeses
  • New Potato & Chive Salad
  • Coleslaw
  • Onion Marmalade & Tomato Chutney
  • Selection of Home-made Breads
  • Home-made Scones with Clotted Cream

For the wedding breakfast at 6pm we served Meze Platters to share

  • Hummus, Tzatziki, Olives, Spicy Meatballs, Spinach & Feta Parcels, Dolmades & Falafel
  • Selection of Breads, Pitta & Flatbread
  • Moroccan Spiced Slow Roasted Lamb Shank
  • Sweet Potato Mash
  • Char Grilled Mediterranean Vegetables
  • Wedding Cake for Dessert with Summer Berries & Fresh Cream
  • The cake made by The Yummy Pudding Co, was Salted Caramel on the bottom and Raspberry and Lemon on the top!
