the order of the day

We loved catering at Silverholme Manor for Claire and Adam. What a day this was. It was glorious sunshine for start to finish!

Timings for the day:

2.30pm Ceremony at Silverholme
3.00pm Drinks Reception and Canapes
4.30pm Guests Seated
5.00pm Wedding Breakfast
7.15pm Cocktail Hour and Tea and Coffee – Served in Silverholme
8.15pm Bar Opens & Guests return to Tipi’s
8.30pm First Dance & Band First Set
9.15pm Evening Food and Cake
12.00am Bar Close

The day started with the ceremony in the coach House shortly followed by drinks and canapes on the lawn.

For welcome drinks Claire and Adam chose Aperol Spritz, Prosecco and Bottled Beer. It was bright blue skies and glorious sunshine so it was perfect weather for drinks on the lawn overlooking Lake Windermere.

After an hour and a half in the sunshine it was time for guest to make their way into the tipis for the Wedding Breakfast.

Claire and Adam’s Menu:

Cartmel Valley Smoked Salmon, Pink Grapefruit, Pomegranate & Mixed Leaves
Served with a Lime & Dill Crème Fraiche Dressing

Vegetarian and Vegan Option – Avocado, Pink Grapefruit & Pomegranate Salad

Harissa Spiced Leg of Lamb – Served on Platters in the middle of the Table

Vegetarian & Vegan Option – Harissa Aubergine

Dishes of:
~ Batata Harra (A Middle Eastern Dish made with Potatoes, Coriander, Garlic, Paprika, Lemon and Salt.)
~ Herby Green Cous Cous
~ Tomato & Pomegranate Salad
~ Hummus
~ Tzatziki
~ Salsa Verde
~ Flatbreads

Once the main course was cleared it was time for Laurent Perrier to be served ready for Speeches! Following Speeches it was time for dessert!

Once desserts were cleared it was time for all the guests to make their way into the house for Cocktail Hour!

~ Negroni
~ Bramble
~ Mojito Mocktail

We also served Tea, Coffee and Home-made Dark Chocolate Fudge if guests didn’t want cocktails!

While guests enjoyed the cocktails the rest of our team cleared the marquee ready for the evening! After an hour of cocktails guests made their way back into the marquee for Claire and Adam to cut the cake and for the band to begin!

After the bands first set it was time for evening food! We set up a grazing table at the back of the tipis with Cheese, Biscuits and Wedding Cake for guests to help themselves to throughout the evening!

After a night of partying, it was quickly midnight! All the guests moved to the coach house to carry on partying while our team cleared down the marquee!
