the order of the day
Since she was a little girl, Chloe had always dreamt of having her wedding in the garden at her parents’ home. So that’s what she did.
With furniture from her parent’s house, family, friends and Sidney & Stanley (the dogs!) running around, the ceremony was simply stunning.
After the ceremony, everyone walked across the road to the fabulous tipis which Chloe, her Mum & Sister had decorated beautifully! Greeted with a glass of champagne and canapés, the drinks reception included a coconut shy, tug of war and event an egg and spoon race!
For the wedding breakfast, Chloe & Stuart wanted to do something a bit different so we did big picnic hampers.
“Our favourite type of summer food is a posh picnic. We had visions of a big picnic basket on each table crammed with all our favourite food (a huge pork pie, Cumberland sausage, hot smoked salmon, homemade pate baked in kilner jars, lots of cheese, and my mum’s homemade hot chilli jam and onion chutney.) It was delicious and put together beautifully”
For dessert guests tucked in to huge home-made meringues, bowls of mixed berries and whipped cream and made their own classic Eton Mess
