I just wanted to say thank you from myself and Hannah for everything on Saturday. The food was absolutely fantastic, every plate I saw going back to the kitchen was empty! All of the staff were amazing , they couldn’t have provided a better service. People are still talking about that beef wellington!

We absolutely loved the food truck, seeing the pizzas being cooked was a great feature for our guests or they could just grab some pizza as it was brought out on the dance floor. The pizza boxes for leftovers were a great touch, we saw plenty of people carrying pizzas as they left. I know we really enjoyed ours back in our room at 1am in the morning!

Everyone has commented on how good the food was and again I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and the team.

Just wanted to email to say thank you so much to you and your team for catering our Wedding. The food was absolutely delicious and your team were very friendly, welcoming and professional throughout the day. Our guests said it’s the best Wedding food they have ever had. We got nothing but good comments!

We also loved the pizza’s in the evening, guests also commented saying they liked how the pizza was brought round and offered to people, it was a nice touch.

The Karen Rhodes team were amazing! we had such a smooth experience and such great food. The team catered to different diets with ease and helped with recommendations to tie everything together. 

The food was incredible – all of our guests still keep commenting on how great it was! If you’re considering pizza for evening food, we would 100% recommend having the food trailer – they tasted so good! 

On the day, the team were seamless, nothing was a hassle for them and the service was perfect.

Street Food Van

Thank you very much for yesterday!
We booked the Street Food Van from Karen Rhodes to cater for our children’s birthday. We had sampled the food at various events in Cumbria over the years, so we knew how special it was….and we weren’t disappointed!
Charlotte, Mark & Beth were wonderful and the food was exceptional as always. Amazing menu to pick from, hardest thing as choosing what to leave out. The Street Food Van was a wonderful addition aesthetically too.We had a mixture of children and adults attending and the food worked perfectly for everyone. Beth walked around handing the food out and we were able to focus on enjoying children’s birthday knowing the food was taken care of.

The team at Karen Rhodes were fantastic from the get go. We effectively designed our own menu for the day by giving them some ideas / ingredients and flavour combinations and wow did they deliver!

We went with mini tacos for canapes which were a hit with all the guests. Our starter was then a complete invention by the team with roasted avocado being the star of the dish! We went with indian sharing mains which were all delicious – everyone was thoroughly satisfied. And the sorbet! We decided to go for something simple as a wee palate cleanser but nearly every guest had pudding up there as their favourite course. It was genuinely incredible!

We finished off with wood fired pizza which topped off a fantastic evening of food. The whole process was smooth – Charlotte, Phoebe and the team were on hand to answer any questions we had and guide us through the tasting. The process leading up to the big day was very clear and seamless, with a different form to fill in each week with all the required information. They were happy to make last minute changes too, although I’m sure this can be tricky to manage. All in all would highly recommend! And thank you!
