Helen & Pete Cambell

Pete and I are just about into the swing of being back in the land of normal now and would like to send a note of huge thanks for the incredible food your team served for us on our wedding day.  The run up to a wedding is stressful especially when having to pull together marquee/caterers/band etc but from the first moment we met you at the Swan in February we knew we didn’t need to worry.  You put our minds at rest and we immediately felt at ease and incredibly excited about our big day.

We would like to say thank you for the following four things which particularly stand out and make Karen Rhodes caterers we would certainly recommend.

1/ Outstanding service prior to the event.  You were incredibly prompt with all correspondence and very helpful with suggestions on how to give our guests the dining experience we had envisaged e.g. the table carving chefs.  Your thoroughness in the planning gave us reassurance that all aspects of food and drink had been captured for the day.

2/  The incredible food.  Wow, what can we say?! Everyone is still talking about the food!  All of the food was exceptional, but the starters were particularly notable… in fact there was enough food on the starter platters for starters and the main! We loved the idea of the table carvers as well.

3/ The flexibility on the day.  Your thorough but discreet attention to our guests throughout the day and your occasional check ins with Pete and I gave us the flexibility of tweaking serving times were necessary and made Pete and I feel in control of decisions and ensuring the day ran perfectly for all of our guests.

4/ Your team ; Your team on the day were very professional , very polite and very attentive.  Again they were all very discreet in their service, which is difficult but important to achieve.

Thank you again Charlotte, we could not have been more pleased with choosing Karen Rhodes as our wedding caterers.  We wish you all the very best for the future and the rest of the busy wedding season.  Should we need caterers in the Lakes again, we will certainly be in touch!
