Their day started at Cartmel Priory Church followed by drinks and canapes at the stunning venue which was Tammy’s parents’ house. The venue was a perfect venue for the wedding as it had such a personal touch to it and made the wedding have such a family feel to it.
While the sun was out, all the guests enjoying drinks and canapes on the lawn. Welcome drinks were Prosecco and Amstel Bottled Lager.
The canapes were:
– Chilli & Garlic King Prawns
– Honeyed Sausages with Mustard Mayo
– Tomato, Mozzarella and Basil Crostini
– Serrano Ham and Manchego Cheese Croquettes
– Pesto and Mozzarella Arancini with Sun Blushed Tomato Dip
Following welcome drinks and canapes the guests were seated ready for the wedding breakfast. Before the food began the father and mother of the bride gave a welcome speech to everyone introducing the venue and explained the work they had done together resulting in the stunning barn everyone was sat in!
As they were at the family farm in the Lake District, the menu was carefully chosen to represent the Lake District and all its excellent produce!

Following the wedding breakfast everyone went outside and enjoyed the sunshine while we cleared away a few tables ready for dancing. As the night progressed everyone was dancing, singing and partying all night until 10.30pm when evening food began.
The evening food was mini street food:
Mini Bacon & Cheese Burgers on Brioche
Mini Pizzas – Pepperoni, Margherita & Ham and Pineapple
Mini Newspaper Cones of Chunky Chips
Mini Pulled Pork Sliders
Tammy and David decided on the mini style street food as their evening food as they didn’t want people having to stop what they were doing so they could get something to eat therefore they loved the street food idea as it was small and easy to eat and your night wasn’t disrupted by having to go to into another room to eat from a buffet table.
Once all the evening food was finished it was time to dance and drink the night away! The majority of the guests were camping on site so when midnight came and the bar shut all the guests who were staying left the barn and made their way down to carry on partying into the early hours!
This was such an incredible wedding to be involved with and we hope Tammy and David had the most perfect day!
