Rebecca and Thomas

Rebecca and Thomas flipped the traditional wedding day on its head … and it was amazing!

Rebecca and Thomas chose to have 25 of their closest friends and family with them for a beautiful intimate ceremony in the Boat House at The Town Head Estate in March. They created an incredible atmosphere by having a Harpist – Maxine Molin. It was the perfect setting for this beautiful couple.

After the ceremony the guests made their way through the grounds of Town Head, whilst Iain and Sue from Eighth Avenue Photography took Rebecca and Thomas for some fun, beautiful couples photos. When the guests got back up to the barn they were welcomed with an incredibly decorated Marquee with flower pots and stationary all created by Rebecca herself! This was just a small taste of what the Wedding Barn was decorated like. Maxine also played the Harp for the guests whilst they enjoyed their drinks reception.

Rebecca and her closest family flooded the barn with the most incredible florals they had gathered and planted in all different pots to create the most perfect scheme for Rebecca and Thomas’s Springtime wedding.

After gathering for family photos it was time for the Wedding Breakfast. Rebecca and Thomas chose to have a ‘U’ shaped table in the Small Barn. This was the perfect layout for their intimate Wedding Breakfast, making sure everyone included throughout the meal.

Before the meal they had some beautiful speeches and one even had a slide show shown on the Town Head TV.

After the Wedding Breakfast they made their way back downstairs to relax and get more photos whilst we got the barn ready for the 68 extra evening guests who were coming into a wedding game of Bingo! After the game of Bingo it was time for us to serve the evening food to the tables.

Thai Green Curry and Rice Pots
Chicken Korma, Poppadoms and Rice Pots

After serving the curry pots everyone was invited outside for Rebecca and Thomas’s sensational first dance in the night with the fairy lights shining around them! This was a beautiful moment and a very unique first dance! We then served dessert!

After the first dance the Town Head team got the barn ready for the DJ to get the evening party ready. They had DJ Conroy create an insane playlist that got everyone on the dance floor!

Rebecca and Thomas, thank you for having us cater for your incredible day! It was lovely to see a couple make their day so unique and turn away from wedding day traditions!
