Natalie & Tim celebrate their big day at Fairbank Wedding Barn in Staveley.

They decided to choose a selection of canapés for guests to enjoy during welcome drinks… I mean.. What a choice!!

Natalie & Tim chose a great menu and offered everyone so much choice! This is a good way to keep all the guests happy however it does need careful consideration due to a couple of points.. 

  1. It creates a lot more admin for you as a couple! Instead of just getting RSVP’s you would need to get their pre orders, dietary requirements e.g Gluten Free, Dairy Free etc, send us over a document with everyones pre-order where they’re sitting and your table layout. Then if you happen to change your seating plan you need to make sure all the dietary requirements and menu choices move too!
  2. Guests on the day can change their mind (I know I’ve done it before when something else looks better!) on the day and this can create a slower service.
  3. There is a price increase per person for this due to additional preparation time and a bigger kitchen team required on the day to help with service

A great way to offer everyone a choice but without needing pre-orders or creating you guys any more admin is to offer a sharing menu or street food! You can choose 6 street food mains and 3 side dishes and this then creates the choice without you having to get pre-orders!
