This was a unique wedding for us at Karen Rhodes Catering … just wait till the end.

Starting their wedding day with a church service at St Oswald’s Church in Burnside – a stones throw away from Fairbank, making it Lauren and Ryans perfect venue. They chose Fairbank Wedding Barn, a working farm hidden in the hills of Inge near Staveley.

After the service Lauren and Ryan went up into the private Tarn that Fairbank has to offer for some beautiful pictures with Tim Johnson. It was a windy day but created some excellent pictures! Whilst they were up there Clare from Fairbank served their welcome drinks of Pimms Sundowner and we started serving their guests a selection of Canapés.

Lauren and Ryan came back within plenty of time to enjoy some of the Canapés!

After some photos and fun on the bouncy castle slide it was time to be called into the wedding barn which had been decorated by Lauren and Ryan themselves as well as a local florist Floristry by Carmen, creating a wonderfully wild and relaxed green and white colour scheme.

Their meal was enjoyed by everyone, especially the mini desserts! This is a great option if you can’t decide what dessert to choose for your dessert! They followed their desserts with some Tea and Coffee. 
After a couple of hours with their guests out on the lawn with their own lawn games they had their band Hush set up and get the party started! After their first set we started serving their evening food. Pizza from our Vintage trailer. Saying their guests loved the pizza is an understatement! Their pizzas flew out at rapid speed!

It was a great day for us and we said it was unique wedding for us because we are happy to say Lauren is now a member of our Karen Rhodes Catering team!
