What a lovely day it was being part of the lovely Laura and Callum’s wedding celebrations at the amazing Barn in the Fells, a stones throw away from Ambleside, in idyllic Lakeland Hills. Choosing Lily Lou’s of Ambleside to create beautiful florals for the barn, bouquets and button holes.

Laura and Callum tied the knot and it was time for us to serve canapés in the courtyard.

Honey Mustard Sausages with Mustard Mayo,
Blinis with Crème Fraiche & Smoked Salmon,
Peking Duck Pancakes with Plum Sauce,
Courgette Pakoras with Sweet Chilli Sauce,
Moroccan Cauliflower Bites with Sriracha.

During the drink and canapé service was the perfect time for Sam and James from Velvet Cow Photography to whisk the new Mr and Mrs off for some amazing couples portraits around the venues gardens. After the canapé service Annabel from Weddings By Annabel who was Coordinating the day called all guests up into the barn to be seated for the wedding breakfast, but first speeches!

The food was absolutely loved by all the guests. It was them time for guests to head back downstairs for the barn to be changed over for an evening of entertainment by the DJ Dancing in the Dark.
