The Sun Shining for this Wedding, what a Wedding Weekend!

Jess and Jamie booked Longlands in Cartmel which is surrounded by stunning scenery. Showcasing a beautifully restored historical Manor House with cottages and a beautiful rustic wedding barn. This venue is perfect for having your closest family and friends with you all weekend, it can sleep up to 40 guests and Cartmel is only a 3 minute drive away!

Jess and Jamie chose to have no starter and increase their canapés, mixing between traditional and posh ones. This is a great way to extend the cocktail ‘hour’ making a less formal Wedding Breakfast. It creates a very relaxed atmosphere and the guests can try a number of different delicious food choices. Adding to the atmosphere they had some live entertainment with their Violinist Kate Couriel creating beautiful music.

After enjoying their canapés around the grounds of the venue, Jess and Jamie had been whisked away with their photographer Jason Chambers for some incredible couples shots as well as their videographer Damian Kelly.

Soon enough it was time to invite everyone into the barn for speeches and their Wedding Breakfast. The barn was filled with Emma Jane Events table and chairs, decorated by Floristry by Carmen with the most incredible floral colour scheme of Sunflowers and Lillys, all with a yellow, orange and red hue! Perfect for a sunny September Wedding!

This is a fan favourite for Lake District Weddings simple food bursting with delicious flavours!

After the meal the guests made their way back outside for more drinks and fun whilst we got the barn ready for the Band and Saxophonist from Jonny Ross Music. Having a saxophonist is a great way to add to the excitement of the party in the evening. They know how to get the party started!

With most of their guests staying on site and close by Jess and Jamie had us come back to cook them a BBQ the next day!

This is a great option for the night before to calm any nerves and to see everyone before the main event.

Or like jess and Jamie having one the day after let all your guests come back together to tell you all their stories from the night before!
