Pre Wedding Food

The wedding weekend started on Friday with a Pizza Night for all the guests to come to Silverholme to see everyone before the big day.

Guests arrived at 6.30pm ready for pizzas at 7.00pm. The pizza toppings were as follows:

~ Pepperoni
~ Tomato, Mozzarella, Buffalo Mozzarella & Basil
~ Spinach, Caramelised Onion & Goats Cheese
~ Cajun Chicken, Red Pepper & Red Onion

Guests helped themselves to drinks while our team walked around with the pizza ensuring all the guests got plenty to eat.

The Wedding Day

Timings for the Day:
2pm – Ceremony in Coach House
2.30pm – Welcome Drinks and Canapes
3.45pm – Guests Seated
4.00pm – Speeches
4.30pm – Wedding Breakfast
6.30pm – End of Meal
9.00pm – Evening Food
12am – Bar Staff Finish

Their day started with the ceremony in the coach house at Silverholme which was then followed by drinks and canapes on the lawn overlooking Lake Windermere.

For welcome drinks Jayne and Anthony chose Prosecco and bottled beers which was a great idea. Once everyone had a welcome drink our team went round with canapes.

– Peking Duck Pancakes
– Chicken Satay with Peanut Dip

After drinks and canapes on the lawn it was time for guests to be seated and get ready for speeches!

Following the speeches it was time for the wedding breakfast.

Served with Mixed Leaves, Baby Capers & Heritage Tomatoes
Baskets of Home-made Breads and Butter

Giant Sharing Toad in the Hole with Cumberland Sausage

Served with Dishes of:

~ Roasted Vegetables
~ Green Vegetables
~ Jugs of Onion Gravy

Sticky Toffee Pudding with Toffee Sauce & English Lakes Ice Cream

Once the wedding breakfast had been cleared away it was time to clear the tipis and get ready for a night of partying.

With the cake being a cheese wedding cake Jayne and Anthony asked us to do a grazing table. Once they had cut the cake, we then laid it out on a side table with biscuits, homemade chutney and crusty bread ready for guests to help themselves to throughout the evening.
