What an amazing weekend it was for Faye & Jack at a beautiful marquee in Lancaster.

Timings for the weekend

Friday

2:30pm – Ceremony

3:30pm – Guests arrive at marquee and canapés served

5:30pm – Guests seated

6pm – Speeches

6:30pm – Wedding breakfast main course and dessert

8pm – Cut the cake

8:30pm – First dance

10pm – Evening food

Saturday

6pm – Evening food

The welcome drinks included Prosecco, bottled beer and a selection of soft drinks.

Once the guests arrived at the marquee on Friday at around 3:30pm after the ceremony, we served a range of canapés which included;

Honeyed Sausages

Goats Cheese Bon Cons with Chilli Jam

King Prawns with Chilli and Garlic

Peking duck Pancakes with Hoisin Sauce

Mini Yorkshire Puddings with Roast Beef and Horse Radish

Croque Monsieur

Pesto and Mozzarella Arancini

Crostini with Mozzarella, Sun Blush Tomato and Basil

Everybody was then seated at about 5:30pm ready for the speeches with their glass of Prosecco. Followed by the main course and dessert for the wedding breakfast at 6:30pm

Main Course

Chicken Fillet stuffed with Sun Blush Tomato, Mozzarella and Basil Wrapped in Prosciutto, served with a Rich Chicken Jus, Roasted Baby New Potatoes and Roasted Vegetables

Caramelised Shallot Tarte Tatin (Vegan and Vegetarian option)

Dessert

Lemon Tart with Fresh Raspberries and Raspberry Sorbet

During the wedding breakfast the drinks served were white, red and rose wine along with water for the tables.

Singer Paul Guard also entertained guests and the bride and groom throughout the day and got everyone up and dancing even through the wedding breakfast!
