This wedding was a very special one for the Team at Karen Rhodes. We have been friends with Katie Anne and Matthews families for a very long time and we were very excited to help them plan the Big Day!
The day started with a 2.00pm Ceremony at the stunning Crosthwaite Church in Keswick.
After the Ceremony, all guests made their way back to the marquee which was located at Matthews Family home. As you can see from the photo below it was in a stunning location!
As the sun was shining guests were greeted back at the Marquee with Champagne and Beers shortly followed by Canapés.
The Canapés were:
Zucchini Fritters & Tempura Prawns with a Herby/Garlic Aioli
Mini Caesar Salads served in a Baby Gem Lettuce
Deep Fried Calamari with Lemon/Garlic Aioli
Spinach, Sun Blush Tomatoes & Goats Cheese Tarts
Whilst drinks and canapes were being served to the guests, Katie Anne and Matthew flew off in a Helicopter to capture some pretty incredible photos on the top of Skiddaw
Once they landed back on site it was time for some more family and group shots!
Once everyone was seated we started with speeches! Once these were finished we began with the following Menu:
Caprese Salad – Buffalo Mozzarella, Tomato, Basil Salad with a Basil Dressing
Baskets of Home-made Breads
Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar
Escalope de Veal Milanese – served with an Arrabbiata Sauce
Oven Baked Sea Bass with Olives, White Wine, Lemon, Cherry Tomatoes & Basil – served with a Salsa Verde
Sweet Potato and Courgette Salad
Roasted New Potatoes with Olive Oil & Rosemary
Verdura Mista – Fennell, Asparagus, Courgettes, Peppers, Red Onion & Fresh Basil
Rocket and Parmesan Salad
Affogato – Vanilla Ice Cream with Espresso & Amaretto
Once the meal was finished the evening was fully of laughter, dancing and fun! What a way the finish the night with some Newspaper Cones of Parmesan Chips and Bacon Buns!
It was a great day followed by a fantastic party in the evening and through until the early hours!
