The Ceremony was held at Cartmel Priory Church at 2.00pm. The bride arrived and looked sensational!
Once leaving the Church, guests were greeted with Champagne, then canapés followed shortly after!
The canapés were:
Honeyed Sausages with a Mustard Dip
Mini Leek & Cheese Tarts
Blinis with Crème Fraiche & Smoked Salmon
Spinach & Feta Filo Parcels
King Prawns in Filo Pastry with Chilli Dipping Sauce
Caramelised Onion Tarte Tatin
Arancini with a Sun Blush Tomato Dip
Mini Yorkshire Puddings with Pink Roast Beef
Whilst everyone was enjoying the drink, canapés and the sun, there was time to get some photos inside the marquee! The flowers from Brackens of Bowness were incredible and made the marquee very memorable and eye catching!
One detail of this wedding which was very personal and such a lovely touch was the name cards! Rather than traditional name cards they put a funny photo of each guest! (Sorry John!)
Once everyone found there seats we began the meal!
A lovely Lake District inspired menu:
Twice Baked Cheese Soufflé, Served with a Champagne Cream Sauce & Mixed Leaves
Baskets of Home-mad Breads
—
Lakeland Fell Bred Fillet of Beef with a Madeira Jus
Gratin Dauphinois
Grilled Asparagus & Glazed Carrots
—
Sticky Toffee Pudding with Toffee Sauce & English Lakes Ice Cream
—
Tea, Coffee and Chocolate Fudge
Later in the evening the lighting provided my Millennium Marquees was spectacular! It created a very different look between day and night creating a party atmosphere as guests partied until the early hours!
To finish the evening, Bacon Buns, Sausage Buns and Cheese Toasties were served as a late night snack!
