I could not let the opportunity pass without thanking you and your team for a magnificent performance at our Christmas party last Saturday night.  From the moment you arrived, everything meticulously planned and executed and you removed a great deal of anxiety from me.  You prepared the meal in difficult conditions but the result was excellent.  I have been inundated with compliments and although we have worked together several times before, this was Karen Rhodes Catering at its very best. Your staff worked extremely hard and with great professionalism and they are a real credit to you.  I enclose a small gift for you to pas on to each of them.  Thank you again and I look forward to working with you again in the not too distant future.

We cannot praise you enough for your professionalism, expertise and “can do” attitude.  The lunch you provided at Lancaster Town Hall on my Shield Hanging day was absolutely perfect in every way. Just a brief note to say thank you for the most excellent buffet lunch on Wednesday. The simplicity of the menu appealed to all, the food was beautifully presented, it tasted absolutely delicious and the service was first class. If any of those present had still to be converted, I think you can take it that they have all ben converted to KR now.

You and your team did a wonderful job in Lancaster Castle on the 17th and I’m sure I’m writing on behalf of everyone who attended the dinner when I say thank you for making it such a wonderful occasion.

I know that you find yourself in many different and varied locations but cooking on the top of the Castle steps must be a first and it was a triumph! I also know how much hard work and planning goes into events such as these and it was enormously appreciated. The dinner itself was delicious and the Grand Jury Room looked magnificent. Thank you for all the trouble you took to make it the success it undoubtedly was, we couldn’t have enjoyed it all more.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for all your time, patience and hard work in making the Ball the great success that it has proved to be.

As the final Charity Event of my year as Lord Mayor, I don’t think that it could have been a more spectacular finale. I believe that I am safe in saying that it was one of the most profitable Balls in many years, not only monetarily but also in raising peoples idea of Liverpool and its Lord Mayoralty.
